EGT plug and play sensor

Hi,

I understand that there will be a new "Plug and Play" EGT sensor available for the UTEC later.

I currently have a Greddy 60mm EGT gauge. Will I still be able to use my Greddy gauge after I install the new EGT sensor from you?

I mean w/out drilling another bung???

The EGT sensor will actually plug into your Gameboy smart-cable or your TurboXS Tuner. It does not plug directly into the UTEC.

I’d have to consult Pete on the differences between our sensor and the Greddy unit because I am unfamiliar with the specific details of the probe he has chosen. When I get some information I’ll get back to you.

Hi Nathan,

Thanks for the clarification...

One more question.

Assuming I have an UTEC+Tuner combo in my car.

Will the UTEC datalog show EGT Temp on the datalog when the EGT probe is connected to the Tuner?

I read the datalog posted by rraulston on this thread and it doesn't seem to have an additional column ready for the EGT temp...

I think we have room for one more column in data logger #1. There are other loggers that have a lot more room in them.
