i will see the machinist in the morning. I am having a special bolt made that has 10 x 1.25 threads on one end and what ever fits the hole on the sensor, then use a nut to tighten it. Then you can mount the knock sensor right under the exhaust manifold on that engine boss. It will be almost the same distance from the head as the original K sensor but on the other side of the block. Ill let you know what happens. RRR

 

ya know, I think they already make an adapter like that in the mitsubishi parts bin.. I think its the same way the stock knock sensor is mounted.
