Evo 8 MR - Fuel concerns with new mods

Hi all

I have an Evo 8 MR with the following modifications just installed. My concerns is, will this cause the engine to lean out? Or will the ECU be able to control this with my current setup?

New additions:
  • Tomei dump time
  • EGR delete kit
  • Lower intercooler pipe – replaced with a ETS pipe
Current modifications:
  • Blitz panel filter
  • AEM 50-1100 fuel pump – running e10
  • AMS down pipe and full 3” exhaust
  • Factory ECU and injector - stock tune.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You should be fine with those mods, one of the great things about a MAF system is it will adjust to increased airflow very easily (to a point). It would be wise to invest in a quality wideband O2 gauge before you go any further with mods or increasing the boost.

I'd hope not. It's not like he's running a GT35 at 30 psi on a stock tune. The cars basically stock. He'll be fine with the stock tune.

Edit; Although probably not a bad idea to pull timing if you're running on 91, as the stock map has a tendency to knock a bit without 93.
