Just got my engine build to make more power

running into the issue of blue smoke when sitting at idle. Checked the spark plugs and they look fine but i noticed the pistons are a goldish color that looks like oil but I have AMS break in motor oil that is red

the pistons I have are weisco anod do not havethat gold color when manufactured

about to check compression here in a minute

 

how many miles are on it?
sounds like it is not broken in yet.

 

I only have about 600 on the miles, my tuner says about 1000 miles until we actually tune it for 700hp

I have about 400 left on the motor until then, not sure if im over concerned. First motor I had built and installed myself

 

What break in procedure are you following? have you been driving it a varying RPM's..etc?
