Proof the UTEC works

Our UTEC tuner is one of the best in the country and after he got his hands on ours we had good results. Need help with the UTEC, need to buy one, or need to get a custom map done? Check us out.

Here is what we did with our UTEC -

Good lord.. Thats big numbers with a big turbo..

Its nice to see one of the shops finally post about some gains with the UTEC.. Now I'm beginning to wonder what my garage full of mods will be capable of.. getting itchy, but I'm still prepping and assembling the car a bit at a time since its my daily driver..

But as your subject line says.. My comment is.. Was there any doubt?

Nice numbers!!

... but man, that's a slow spoolup, or did you guys start your run at higher RPMs than usual?

A great big T67 on a tiny 4G63 will do that.

Nice to see a Dyno Dynamics!

Vivid,

Was that DD dyno chart done in shootout mode?

That lag seems horrendous. 70 horsepower at 3500 rpm? 70 horsepower makes baby Jesus want to cry.

No in shootout mode that horsepower number would have been outta site. I'm not sure how much of an effect this had but depending on what ramp rate Dyno Comp had set it will greatly influence how the turbo spools and therefore the low end torque numbers.
