TurboXS Tuner suggestions....

Hey guys, Was wondering when the EGT probe (or what kind it is so I can make my own wiring harness) will be available..

But here's the point to my post..

I think that if the EGT probe is installed, you should append the EGT Temp to the end of the data log 1 just like the AFR is on the Utec.. I can see that being **VERY** useful for datalogging.

It seems like a simple addition..

Please please please?? Sorry, this is an important topic for me..

ALSO, I was wondering if you guys can recommend an gauge that looks like the autometer or another similar gauge that will take the analog AFR output and display it on a gauge.. Its a stupid request, but was considering somehow configuring the output to be a linear 1v output and hooking it up to an inexpensive sweep gauge like the Nordskog 2 5/8 Professional AFR gauge..

I plan on hiding the tuner out of sight and wanted a remote display or a gauge to hook up to it.

I think you need to incorperate some way to hook my Defi gauge to the tuner so it can log it and still display it on my gauge.

The EGT probe is very close to the production stage but a number of other jobs are keeping us very busy! So no promise date I'm afraid.

It is getting very crowded on logger 1 but we will have a look at it. Would you consider any other logger?

Don't forget about the Gameboy as a display option.

regards
Pete

Well, with the comma delimited format, your capturing data for analysis.. so if you don't put in a CR/LF until after the last column, it doesnt matter.. (BTW I use 132 column display on a HP Jornada Handheld PDA so it only takes up 70 chars of it) Logger 1 has the most useful information so it makes the most sense.. I can understand if your using the fixed format, but the Shift-1 Comma Delimited format is something I use to capture data, so being easily readable isn't as important, Its something that I use to read into my software, and something that I use to calculate data with Data Log Lab's software.

Nobody has really seen the gameboy display setup to check out yet so I haven't been able to give it any thought.. If you guys can get something to me to evaluate

How would the gameboy screen handle the TUNER/UTEC combo? Will it get the data from both to display what is necessary?? If thats the case, count me in!

It would be kind of cool to have a Tuner/UTEC output of everything including the relay states.
