TXS Tuner $399 with VW Wideband

Looks like the cheaper tuner to go with the UTEC is out, is the Bosch O2 sensor worth $80 more than the VW?

The Tuner pro rocks.. the difference in price of the sensor really has to do with the sample rate their capable of, but on this thing, its likely you wouldn't see any difference..

the Tuner is the new "inexpensive" bad boy, our tuners (with a volume dial and knock sensor) are called the Tuner Pro now..

Is the extra knock sensor and inputs worth the extra few dollars? Not so sure, it really depends on how into tuning you are..

What he said!!! I had just purchased the tuner, utec, map switch, exhaust, and the last hyperflow intercooler they had. I could have saved 200 bucks and had more room under the dash (coiled up knock sensor wiring). Damn the bad luck. Ohh well, at least mine has a cool knob on the front. Ha ha you tuner pro "less" soon to be owners.

Yeah, the tuner with the knock sensor and the other inputs is the "Tuner Pro" the tuner is now basically a wideband O2 without all of the bells and whistles of the tuner pro..

Can you wire in other brands of widebands into the Utec?

Not that I'm aware of.. the Tuner connects to the UTEC through the serial port and directly communicates with it, then overlays its data on top of it..
