Evo Utec Ver. 1.6 Pre-Release Party

The moment is so close, I am sure you guys can taste it.

We have the final version for release, we just need to update the instruction manual and then I can point you all to the Evo Utec Update Site.

The most noticeable software interface change is the OPEN LOOP FUELLING Parameter Menu.

We now give you ability to control your injector scaling, primary rev limit, open loop tps threshold, MAF Overboost threshold (previously available) and MAP based Fuel Cut for those who are using an External Map Sensor.

Some of the other changes that have been made are the Utec to ecu timing and vice versa interpolation. This will smooth out the drive ability considerably. The map calibration glitch has been fixed as well.

It should be noted that our base maps with this software will seem to be very conservative in our AFR. The base map is targeted for 11.1 AFR and the Timing Emulates the stock ecu's timing curve, slightly more aggressive.

Thanks,

Oh.. You might want to document in the updated manual how the Map sensor Mapping reference feature works, and the ABC's recommended setting (one or two turns out) if you choose to use it with closed loop boost.

So hopefully they can get the manual updated today. I really need to retune the car and I'd rather do it with. V1.6.

Yay, perfect timing because my Utec comes in Friday. That will give me enough time to play with maps, then make a nice one for 1.6. Question, will the 1.6 read 1.3's maps without a problem (assuming closed loop fueling).
