ACD and Anti'lock lights blinking
 

Don't know if this is normal, but when I hook up my OBDII cable, (just got it) the lights for the different settings of the ACD all blink together and the Anti-lock light also blinks. This only happens when I plug in the main connector and will stop when I take it out. Just wanted to know if this was normal or not.

Not normal if your speaking about a Tactrix cable.

just hooked up my cable and didnt notice anything like that.

try hooking up the cable before putting the car on the pre-start position.

are you sure you are using the right cable?

Interesting, they do that when we hook up our MUT II scan tool...

Yeah, didn't have any problems logging or pulling the map from the ecu. Going to be reflashing it either tonight or within the next couple of days so I'll see if it works.

I hooked up my cable and logged for the first time today and noticed exact same thing, as soon as I reach say 2-3 mph it stops blinking

well i work for nissan and when we use the consult 2 (dedicated scanner) while its loading abs, cel, and airbag light up one at a time, maybe its normal....

Bringing this back from the dead...

Mine started doing this tonight and had the Tactrix Cable plugged in... so I'm guessing its just something that is normal....

oh no that means its a tinking time bomb, boooom
just kidding, its normal. all the lights blink to let you know its connected. it shuts off after you start moving 5mph or so.

The lights don't ever shut off on mine. Everything works fine, it logs ok and I can reflash just fine. Just never knew why it does this.

Anyone have any ideas?

The one I just bought is doing it too. I borrowed a buddy of mines cable and it doesn't do it. I couldn't download my ROM, just kept getting an error.

i got the same thing but the cable is all good the light is blinking but i can log and flash with it just find. after i drive my car it stop blinking.

Mine works now, warmed the car up and then I could pull the ROM off the ECU. Lights blink until car is doing about 10 mph and then they turn off.
