Our past experience tells us that the stock Evo injectors are close to their maximum duty cycle when your car is tuned with cams and full turbo back exhaust. In order to ensure the safest way to gain more whp, larger size injectors must be added to compensate for the extra output. Helix 720cc injectors will be the perfect match for those of you that are looking for the affordable injectors that will aid you or your tuner at extracting the most power out of your car.

Buddy Club cams:
Buddy Club Racing Spec high performance camshafts are CAD computer designed to optimize torque and horsepower over the widest possible powerband. All Racing Spec camshafts are made from new billets of high nickel content iron alloy, not reground stock units, therefore equaling or exceeding the OE units they are designed to replace in terms of quality and workmanship. The camshafts are direct replacements and are designed to be compatible with the factory followers and valve springs. Buddy Club also offers high performance valve spring sets for limited applications that can benefit from stiffer springs when using “Larger” profile Buddy Club camshafts. It is possible to gain at least 20+ whp with Racing Spec camshafts on turbocharged applications.

Helix cam gears w/ package install for $199 extra

Helix Power is pleased to announce the release of its 5-bolt cam gears for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII (4G63). The Helix 5-bolt cam gear is CNC machined for T6061 Aluminum, anodized, and laser etched for accuracy. Unlike the 3 bolts design, the 5-bolt design will ensures precision and stability. The use of Helix cam gears allow 4G63 owners to adjust their camshaft timing to maximize power throughout the power band for many different applications. Adjustments are +/- 12 degrees.

Ecutek tune w/Helix 720cc injectors installed for $999

With our years of experience tuning high-performance race vehicles such as the WRX US-Touring Car as well as numerous Rally and drag cars, we have perfected the art of tuning a high performance vehicle and extracting the maximum power without compromising safety.

We have found through months of testing that the Ecutek reflash is far superior to reflash systems that many of our competitors offer. The Ecutek reflash allows for far greater tuning flexibility, tuning stability, and additional features such as 2-step, effective scaling for larger injectors, effective scaling for larger MAFs, etc.

In essence, the ECUtek reflash is powerful and flexible enough to accommodate a wide range of EVOs, from cars that are completely stock to cars that are heavily modified.

Presented here is our Stage 0 map, which is developed on a COMPLETELY stock 2003 EVO VIII GSR. The only modification we have made is to the ECU, and a minor modification to the boost solenoid.

Gains of 18.2whp were achieved without sacrificing any low-end to midrange torque on CA 91 octane. Rev limit was increased, and AFR remains at an ultra safe 11.2 : 1, even at 95+ degree weather (it’s hot on the dyno!). Did we leave power on the table with an 11.2:1 AFR? Yes we did, but our tuning philosophy is maximum power and maximum safety.

In essence we have developed a map as the stock EVO should have been from the factory – a 300HP car out of the box on California 91 octane pump.

Mitsu TME turbo w/Helix injectors - $1599 installed + tax

The Mitsubishi RS T.M.E turbocharger uses a titanium aluminize shaft to reduce the shaft weight by an amazing 30%! Together with a much larger 10.5cm turbine housing, this turbo is able to flow quite a bit more air than stock and with the lighter shaft, spool-up is even better than with the stock turbocharger! This is a direct, Mitsubishi made, replacement for your stock turbo to give you an extra boost of power.
