Power Packages Are Up Guys
GRUPPE-S STAGE III POWER PACKAGE (425HP)
Our Stage 3 Power Package begins by swapping the stock 16GL turbo for the much larger Garrett GT3071. The Garrett GT3071 is a Garrett medium frame turbocharger featuring a T3 turbine wheel and a 71mm compressor wheel housed in a ball-bearing center cartridge. The ball-bearing center cartridge ensures optimal turbo response and spool up, while the much larger T3 turbine and 71mm compressor substantially increases the power potential of your Evolution.
The larger GT3071 turbocharger will increase pump-gas potential by over +30whp over our Stage 2 package, with a overall horsepower increase of 110 to 115 whp (~145HP) over stock. The GT3071 was selected as the optimum Stage 3 turbo because it provides a substantial power gain without sacrificing turbo response, spool-up, and everyday driveability. Furthermore, it does not require the upgrade of the stock intercooler, hardpipes, or any other components other than the existence of the Gruppe-S Stage 1 and Stage 2 power-packages.
In terms of additional components only the Helix 720cc injectors are required to supplement the additional fuel needed (assuming you have our Stage 1 / 2). The ATP GT3071 kit WILL replace your factory downpipe.
And of course substantial tuning is required for proper operation, therefore the use of the Gruppe-S Reflash is mandatory.
(Quoted output is for cali 91 pump gas. The package is worth about 500HP on race gas, properly tuned).

GRUPPE-S STAGE IV POWER PACKAGE (2.3 Stroker Motor)
With our Stage 3 kit on race gas your stock motor is pretty much at its maximum >reliable< potential. Our Stage 4 Power Package transforms your Evolution VIII / IX to a street and track monster. Our Stage 4 Power Package takes the venerable 4G63 and transforms it to a 4 cylinder monster by increasing displacement from 2.0 -> 2.3 liters and swapping the stock internals with completely forged internals and race bearings. Eliminated are the frequent causes of 4G63 failure - spun bearings and cracked pistons. The stock bore is increased from 85mm to 85.5mm and the stroke is increased to 100mm. The result is an extra 0.3 liters of displacement, with compression remaining right around 8.8:1.
Included in the power package is the Gruppe-S 100mm forged crankshaft, Helix forged connecting rods with ARP L19 rod bolts, Wiseco custom spec pistons, and Gruppe-S coated race bearings. The end result is a big power monster that substantially increases power throughout the power band. The added displacement is perfect for big turbo cars as well as track and road-race applications.
If you choose to have us build your block for you, we ensure that your engine is specifically suited for your high-performance needs. The crankshaft is carefully balanced within +/- 1 gram, the cylinder walls bored and honed, and the entire rotating assembly balanced. Our Stage 4 built motors can reliably sustain upwards of 550whp, which is in excess of 700HP. Special crankshaft services such as nitriding and cross-drilling are available.

I just looked at the new EVO packages and was wondering about the Gruppe-S reflash that's now being offered? Based on the price point it's obviously not an ECUtek flash, is it an XFlash, ECUFlash etc... Also, is it available for the IX's and is custom tuning available with this new flash?

The Gruppe-S Reflash is a hybrid flash of sorts. We are using the Techtom technology to reflash because of our investment in the technology. The maps were professionally altered by our tuner, MIKE, using various technology on the market. You can fine-tune your maps with essentially any KWP2000 flashing device such as Techtom, Ecuflash, etc..

how much extra would it be to install helix 242 cams on the 9 when they come out, along with rod bolts. and to tune that, instead of just tuning for the turbo kit.
