Well after settling the problem back in late Sept, Gruppe-s resulted in paying and shipping me a LY Oem EVO IX front lip. They claimed they placed to have placed to order in japan for this lip on Sept 28,2006 and told me it would arrive mid-late Oct with the other containers. After Oct rolled around, I called to find out that they couldnt find the Lip and would try to find it. I called again a few days later and they said that the guy forgot to ship it or something, so I told them to buy one here in the US. They claimed they would do that near the end of Oct. Well 2 weeks ago I called to check up and they said they told Mitsu and they would ship it via UPS and I would have it soon. . . Today rolled around and I received a call that the paint guy was delayed and couldnt paint it till Friday and would ship it out Monday and I would receive it at the end of the week.

At the end, it took 2 MONTHS (sept 28-nov27) for them to get me an oem lip that I was suppose to receive the the actual bumper. It took Gruppe-s 4 months just to get me the Front bumper with the 1 month delay. So in total, if i receive they lip late next week, it would have taken Gruppe-s 6 MONTHS!(24 weeks) to send me a full front bumper that should have taken 6-8 weeks. That means I waited 3x the length and I get no sympathy at all. I even asked to just at least include 1 front tow hook cover because speed element includes (2), but they rejected that.

Since I didn't get any "real" customer treatment, all I have to say is that Gruppe-S has been nothing buy a pain to work with and I would recommend not purchasing through them as a first choice. Sorry to be so harsh but sometimes that is what the truth has to be.

I agree, I also had a bad experience with them. Do NOT RECOMMEND ORDERING FROM GRUPPE-S. YOU WOULD HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE BS GREYHOUND SHIPPING.

 

I agree, too. A very dishonest vendor who completely lacks integrity whatsoever. Be extra careful when you deal with these shaddy guys.

 

they have lied and messed up two orders from me too. worst vendor i have ever had to deal with in 10 years of modding cars.

Well I would recommend that all of you: (1) contact Evom and have them removed, (2) BBB in Ca. and file a complaint, and (3) consider a lawyer if they misrepresented anything.

 

already went though BBB and that is how I forced them to give me the lip i purchased.

 

do you have an evo 9? or can an evo 9 front lip fit on an evo 8 bumper?

 

i have an evo 8 but i bought the evo 9 front from gruppe-s and never received the oem lip for it.

 

Larry, continuing to post threads like this in our threads will not make Mitsubishi deliver our shipment any faster nor will it make the ocean freight container move any faster...
