Section 13.10 J :
Silicone replacement hoses are permitted as alternate components, provided they meet the requirements of section 13.0 with regard to size, shape, location, and performance equivalence.

Actually I believe the stock rules allow replacement of hoses with silicone replacments, since these are the same size, shape and location as the stock hoses. The issue of performance equivalence is questionable, but I think you would be safe, unless you are planning on winning nationals or something. I doubt anyone would question it at a local event since the rules state it.

Iodine23,
...told you it was bad... now it's easy to see how that could transfer to the dyno. You going to Tech Ridge the end of this month?
Sports: Well if these do indeed dyno to more HP, then I'd think the "equivalent performance" could be called into play. Do we also know for sure if these things are really the same size/shape as stock? I did a search on the sccaforums and the hits I found about silicone were for the WRX and indicated they weren't the same sizeas stock. That was for the WRX, not the Evo, but it makes me wonder a bit... I agree with you, though, that I could probably get away with these at the local level. Nationals, probably not.
Zeus: I should be at Tech Ridge, yup.
