Yes, there is wiring from the light to the control unit. the control unit has wire plug-in for 12v power source (cig lighter).

How does the 3 light works? is it different color at different set RPM?

 

This 3 LED shift lights work with adjustable RPM settings. The color of the LED is in bright amber IIRC.
