Helix high-flow catalytic converter!

Helix Power has just released their high-flow metal substrate catalytic converter downpipe for the Mitsubishi Evolution 8. We air-freighted in 10pcs for those that are interested. Supply is VERY limited. Order yours today J

This particular high-flow cat incorporates a 200 cell Metal-Substrate high-flow catalytic converter and thermal barrier heat-shield. The 200 cell Metal-Substrate downpipe has been tested by us to yield 7-10whp over the factory cat, while able to pass stringent California smog standards. The thermal barrier heat-shield assists in rapid warm-up of the cat for maximum efficiency and helps to keep exhaust gas velocities high.

what do you think the difference in power made will be between the highflow cat and the cat-delete for helix?

The margin of differences in power made between hi-flow cat and cat-delete pipe is quite significant. Altho the Helix hi-flow cat incorporates 200 cell metal substrated material, it is still a catalytic converter that is restrictive compare w/ a test pipe. Our hi-flow cat is dyno-provened to net at least 7-10whp over stock unit. While the test pipe will gain at least 10-15whp with good tuning.

Thanks

The Helix HF Cat is . Very good power gain and the turbo spools much faster compare to stock cat. Plus, you're not contributing to pollution.

Would this High Flow Cat bolt on to an HKS Downpipe and HKS Cat Back Exhaust?

Does it come with the Gaskets?

Cat delete is louder than HF cat. The Helix HF cat comes with gaskets and bolts and will fit any exhaust for the Evo. Mine is fitted to the stock exhaust right now.

Yep, you can feel the power gain from the HF cat. I will be adding a new exhaust soon so it's should feel even better.
