Updated Dyno Results!!

Wuzzup Everyone well I just got off the dynoand i finally got good results!! If you guys can remember a couple of weeks ago i put my car on the Dyno for the first time since being Turbo Charged and on my first pass i got 200 HP to the wheels on 8pds of boost put the clutch gave out during the run. But now after installing my New 6 Puck Clutch W/ pressure plate & 8 lb Flywheel, I was able to go back to the Dyno this Evening and get some really good #'s. I did a couple of passes and the car was pretty constitute. The car pulled 219 Hp to the wheels on 8.5 pds of boost and the A/F ratio was 11.7. The only thing i was not able to give you guys is my torque because the dyno was having some problems reading the coilpacks. But besides that it was a very impressive evening and i 'm really happy for the power this car was able to put out, especially since the car only comes with about 97 Hp to the wheels!!!

Wuzzup everyone? Alright well here is the setup i'm running in my car. First the turbo is a t3/t4E stage 5 w/ a point 63 backhousing, the turbo kit is complete custom kit made by a friend of mine here in Miami. also there is a Turbonectics Blowoff Valve & Wastegate, Custom front mount intercooler, 450cc injectors, Aeromotive Fuel pressure regulator, Walboro 255 intank Fuel pump, Greddy E-Manage, 2-1/2" Straight Pipe coming from the downpipe back with custome exhaust, 6 Puck No spring Clutch w/ Pressure Plate & 8 lb Flywheel.

That's all i got for right now but looking to build the motor w/ Rods & Pistons, ARP Head bolts and a thicker Head Gasket and see what the car can do from there. Right now I'm @ 8.5 lbs of boost and the car is running smoothly. Hopefully be able to make way more power with the motor built with the big Turbo that is already on the car.

well honestly i don't have that much done to the car. if you look at all the other turbo lancers i have a similar setup to there's and were all around the same horsepower. But one of the main reasons why the horsepower is not alot more is because if you look at my turbo and the size of it which if you know a little bit about turbos is just about a big as a 60-1 which is a big turbo and needs a good amount of power to spool it and also likes alot of boost. remeber i'm only at 8.5-9 lbs of boost which nothing for this size turbo. The reason i have such a big turbo on the car is because like i was saying before, i do want to build the block and go to 18-20 lbs which is what the turbo like's. But the car is tuned right now to be a safe everyday driver and thats really what i want for right now.

wuzzup everyone i have a quick question, now that seeing my #'s on the dyno sheet and seeing the setup in my car i was wondering is it still safe to go up a little more in boost or staying around 9 lbs is good enough?

I think the general consensus is that 8 or 9 lbs of boost is about tops for stock internals, assuming you're confident in your fuel delivery already. With rods and pistons, you'll be able to jump some more, of course...

Nice numbers dude!

wouldnt go above 10 without getting some forged pistons, stock rods will hold out more but dont know how much more
