Hey PGMIKE what kind of full mods do you have done?????? I thought the stock motor could hold 7psi with proper amont of fuel.

On the EGT gauge, what temp should i be sitting at. Im not real familiar on this car. Why so many people blowing there motors b/c of lack of fuel at lower boost numbers like 6-8psi or what? Ive seen a couple of guys that have blown there motors at low boost. Are they fuel related reasons or bad luck with the motor.

i have the rrm non intercooled kit adn their headers. i dont know about teh temps bc i dont have one.

and for an update:

i began the tear down this weekend. tore off the up/down pipes, headers, intake piping, and wiring harness. next up is getting the timing belt off and taking the intake mani and head off together so i can bring it inside bc all that is goign to be replaced anyways.

and i still havent ordered internals bc i cant find a decent price. cheapest i could find for both was vision imports and that was 549 for pistons and 699 for rods and that is still mroe than im willing to spend at this point. however, my friend with the sponsorship jsut told me that he can get me both for 629 which is a great price so i hope he comes through.

also, i still need to order the intercooler piping, couplers, clamps, motor mounts, new boost adn egt gauge, steering wheel gauge pod, etc. and i also neecd to get to work PnP the head and i mani.

Wuzzup go2fast, i don't know if anyone has answered ur question yet but when ur sitting in idle and the car is already at its normal temps the egt gauge should be around 8 and when ur cruising say in 5th gear and around say 60-70 mph u should be at or around 12 and when ur under full load u should not go past 14 if u do, back off because u are running to lean!!
