piping setup

Hey guys,

Would it be okay to place the mas sensor on the pressure side. So it would be Air filter - Turbo - Intercooler - BOV - MAS - Throttle Body? And have the BOV VTA? I tried this setup and the car good. No idle problem and decent power. Are there any issues with this setup?
What does the MAS sensor measure? Does it measure the volume of air or the density of it. From what I understand, if it measure density then this setup wouldnt be an issue correct? I hope this question makes sense. Thanks guys.

I have been driving around for the past couple of days and I havent experienced any problems. But there seems to be a loss of power. The A/F ratio is good but I also noticed that now I am only boosting around 3.5 psi gears 1 and 2 but goes up to 5 on 3rd 4th and 5th. When I first installed the kit, it was 5 psi but I was having the idle problem associated with a vta bov. I checked for boost leaks and vacumm leaks and found none. Any reasons why this might be?

the MAS measures the volume of air not teh pressure, the MAP sensor measures the pressure. it should be: air cleaner - mas - turbo - IC - bov - tb.

Yeah, I don't think I'd try to meter compressed air with the stock MAF. Probably best to follow pgmike's model if you're running on a stock ECU.
