Possible Turbo Headers?
IS RRM the only shop that makes headers for the 02 Lancer that is turbo ready or is there a different alternative I just cant find? The Kamikaze ones are non turbo I believe but maybe I just aint paying attention.
If you are doing a custom setup then you can use anything for your exhaust manifold (header) but if you are going to use RRM's setup then it is only compatible with your stock headers or theirs.
RRM's header is turbo ready because of the system they built. They built their turbo around the header. If you want to build your own turbo using regular header you'll have custom work to do. Easiest thing to do would probably be getting a log manifold from a Mirage since we all know their header block flange is the same as the 4g94.
Your best bet, and what I and others have done, is to buy a EVO turbo manifold, and a Lancer flange and have the EVO flange cut off and the Lancer flange welded on. I've been able to get all this done for less than $225. Otherwise, you can always have a shop fabricate you a custom manifold like they did for Hobiekopek.

i don't trust ebay ss autochrome turbo manifolds. i've read issues on them. thin tubing, dissimilar flange metal to metal of the runners, etc...

RRM DOES NOT MAKE A TURBO MANIFOLD. I'm so tired of saying this. They make a header, and they make an up pipe. There is a difference. Yes, you can use them together, but that's it. There are other manifolds out there too. Buy a 1.8l Mirage manifold. You could easily find this all our running a search or two. Your only issue with a Mirage manifold would be finding a matching downpipe or having one made. OR you could just order a kit from RPW. They're widely overlooked, but they're nice kits. IMO none of the kits are perfect, but that's why they're kits. They're meant to work for everyone, not fit specific needs.

Ok rephrase. I am going to purchase headers for my custom turbo kit. What should I buy? RRMs is the only one ive seen that is t25 Turbo compatible and I believe comes with downpipe. Is that the easiest or is there other ways of doing this? Long story short i want to be able to apply the headers and bolt the turbo to it then bold the downpipe too it and tadaa...thats that part of that. Maybe it isnt that easy and maybe I have to have custom welding done but i thought thre would be turbo ready headers available. I am just getting my ducks in a row, the only things I have at this moment for the kit are: t25 used turbine with internal wastegate, intercooler from AWD DSM, BOV from DSM, and anyhting else I want from it. The turbo was bought on Ebay and isnt from the same DSM. To be honest I dont know what its from yet its in the mail but I am almost for sure its from a second gen eclipse GSX. I have compiled a checklist of things I need to complete my kit and I am scouring around for them like any intelligent person would do. I am not rushing into this thats whay I have a question about everyhting(by the way).
Checklist:
Turbine (check)
Intercooler (check)
Wastegate (check)
BOV (Check)
Fuel Managment Unit
Piping
Fuel Pump
Turbo ready Headers
oil lines
and possibly another intercooler for the other side (a custom thing I am brainstorming)
Now for my setup to work I need headers that it will all fit with so whats my options is what I am asking, and more or less is RRMS the best and easiest way to go. My cousin is a novice welder but I dont want a turbo hanging off my stock headers they are lame and restrictive, everyone knows that. So what should I do or what have you done and what would you all do in my place is the question I guess. I am trying to get a check next to headers on my list(LOL) and you guys are the only way I am going to do a good job installing the right things and not ****ing my engine up so I ask all these questions(haha).
Hope this helps more.

Also is this an adequate FMU or is there more to buy than just this to keep the car from running lean under boost?

if that's the route you want to take... then get your hands on the Hacker/Tweeter kit from roadrace + their header. When you order the kit make sure you tell them not to include the turbo and the wastegate since you already have that. You'll be using an internal wastegate, so just get a welder to weld a piece on the flange where the externale Wastegate would have went.

what does that kit include that I will need? I thought the header came with the dowmpipe too? What else is included in that kit, is that an oil line i see?

Well you're going custom buddy, so you need everything except the parts you already have. The way the RRM turbo setup is is like this:
..............................................Inta ke Manifold
Header -> Up-pipe -> Turbo <
...............................................Ret urn-Pipe<--------------- Downpipe
.................................................. ..................WasteGate<
Sorry but given the tools I've got right now, that the best I can do to illustrate the system

Holy hell I am confused now, lol! The RRM header is just that? A header then the turbo bolts to it and I have to find all the other neccessary piping? Which with an internal wastegate wouldnt that just be another pipe to go back into the exaust (A downpipe?) Or does the header come with that pipe the picture tells me nothing on their website. I am lost now, perhaps the 1.8t piping from the mirage turbo will work also? I am clueless now, i thought it was just:
header bolts to engine - turbo bolts to header - retrun downpipe bolts to turbo - exaust bolts to downpipe. Is this not true with an internal wastgate?
