Piggyback & Winter Weather
screw you guys... it's been about 28 degrees in the morning time here. Within the next few weeks it'll drop down to almost 0. We even get snow.

alright update, so last night i plugged in my car, started it...i knew sh|t was gonna hit the fan...pls remember the engine is dead cold when u start it in the morning, engine started and sat at 1000 rpm, i was like "argh this is gonna happen again" so i came out like 10mins later and the revs were at like 2000rpm idling. I was running late so i jus said it should calm down b/c it has these last other days when ur jus driving. I got onto the main road and when i stopped to turn right, the idle was still really jumpy and then i look off and i hit 3rd boosted it and then when i hit 4th, the car like choked or something, it was like fuel cut off, it hesitated soo bad, it brought it back in 3rd, still hesitated, keep feathering the gas to keep the revs up, brought it to 2nd, then slowly back to 3rd and it went back to driving ok, but every light i stopped at on the way to work, the idle was jumpy as hell...(eg: 1000-1500, sudden drop to 1000, back up to 1500) and at work when i finally parked, it idle'd at 1800rpm.
im sooo nervous driving this thing home in rush hour.

When I was too nervous to keep my stock tires for another Ohio Winter, I got on the phone to TireRack and ordered a brand new set of snow tires that day. I spent $400 that I can't afford so I'd be safe.
If you leave the PB on, you can't be that nervous...

what gets me is you still say you need to check a bunch of stuff... all of which aren't related to the piggy... and then you want to still say the piggy's bad
I think your just a whinner and not man enough to find out what is really wrong! Come on man... role them sleeves up and dig in.

I love RRM, but this is why I bought an SAFC instead (back during my Lancer days).

ok so last night my car was running back to normal. i have no reason why, but all i can say is the weather was alot warmer, the snow is starting to melt and i was able to go outside w/ just a sweater. The car idled at 1000, boosted perfect and everything
one thing i will says is.....IT WAS SOOOOO FUN DRIVING HOME YESTERDAY!!
i've been kinda frustrated but since it was back to normal, i was like having sooooo much fun, it was a blast, all i gotta say is, i gotta make a goal to move outta this garbage weather, i should be like a old person and hibernate to Florida or something lol
but ya, im jus heading out to do those test Road Race suggested and i will keep u guys posted as requested.

go lancer go I have been having the same exact issues as you. I have a 05 oz with a rrm cold air and a piggy. I live in connecticut, its been about 25-30F these past few days after installing my pb. It goes into learn mode when you start the engine but the CEL comes on. I thought "whatever" so i let it idle for the set time and then took it out for a drive as the directions ask. I noticed that the idle stays a little high (1600rpm) and when you stop at a red light the needle bounces on 1000rpm up to 1500rm. I thought "whatever, maybe thats what its supposed to do" but i have been driving it for a whole day and its dooing the same thing. If there is a resolution or a work around i would also like to be made aware.

its cause of the cold man, it sucks i know but we have to put up w/ this garbage weather!!

its warmed up here and it seems to be running well
