trying to get a feel for rpw's kit
im looking into turboing the ozr, i want something reliable and something that has local support and knowledge of the product to help a sap like me put it all together and make it run decent.. i have some rrm products and i have been pleasantly suprised with the costomer service for my piggy and tips on installing my strut bar/coilovers...
in anycase, i searched and found the tsi kit, but it seems sketchy, and the rpw kit offered on accoladesportsparts.com seems nice, but there are little details on whats included in the actual product... i dont want to peice together a kit because i dont trust myself, i want something i can open and everthing will be there for me.
rrm seems to be the best in reviews and feedback from members here.. but does anyone know why accolade has not given a further description of the turbo kits available online.. i currently have an rpw header and im very happy with it... im just looking to see whats included in the rpw kit? theres not even mentin of an intercooler!!! ???
thanks for the help guys

i was going to buy the rpw kit, and i had 3k saved up and everything. but they didnt come out with any definant answers so i went with rrm. to be honest i would have bought there kit if they supplied me with quick feedback. i didnt even care if it was a group buy or not.
feedback does make a big difference. rpw has an amazing kit no joke. but oh well. thats what went with me

Also, if you click on the pics of the different stages it will show you what it comes with.

We will see if we cant get the piping and intercooler sourced.. RPW didnt provide this because its cheaper to get here and it would cost more to ship it, but i will see what I can do.
The RPW units are Top Notch. Everything I have seen from them thus far is the best. You cant go wrong.

yeah dave we'd like to get this ball rolling, you have them isted on the site, but u do not have the parts for them? im not sure i understand the circumstances????
RPW is in Australia- that's the situation. What Dave's saying is that they have everything included except some piping and an IC because it's cheaper to source those in the states than it is to pay freight from Austraila on some pretty large items. It would be cool if the US distributor (Accolade) would source pipes that fit and the ICs and keep them in the warehouse so they could be shipped at the same time as the rest of the kit. Yes, then you'd be sitting on an IC and some pipe for a week or so while you drooled over your turbo parts arriving in the mail, but at least you wouldn't have to go find it yourself or have it custom made.
$0.02 from a guy who's always been satisfied with RPW customer service and knows that making life difficult for customers is the last thing they want to do.

well if u want good local tech supports with proven products go with RRM....if u want to go with the less expensive with not so local tech support go with RPW.....
RRM Full kit to bolt right up
RPW not full fit, still need to source parts.
RRM in SOCAL....ur located in Central Cali
RPW in Australia(sp?)
RRM- Lots of kits sold and no major reliablity issuses
RPW not so many kits sold....therfore dont know reliability
thats just a few pro/cons.....make ur decision.....

so the intercooler and piping will have to be bought seperately? or will it come with it fo that price??? it almost seem that in buying the intercooler and piping theres not too much of a difference in prices of kits.
it's funny how you say Local Tech Support. Most of us aren't even near California.. so the only tech support we'll probably get is calling or maybe visiting a local shop in our area for help.
as for the RPW kit, how expensive are is the tubing exactly to have custom made?

just have marc put it together for you
tubing prices will depend on whatever shop you go to. you can also just buy bends yourself and put it all together in your garage.
i'm definately going RPW with a DIY kit. only cuz i want to run a Garrett GT2871.
the kit takes some knowledge on the part of the owner unless taken to a shop, but it's a very comprehensive kit. i don't think reliability should be an issue since their parts don't come cheap. everybody loves their NA header, so build quality shouldn't be an issue. i really love RPW's stuff.
EDIT: here's RPW's price list. tells you EVERYTHING that's in their kit.
