compresson test/boost test

On my prev post on boost leak/iv been loosing boost vac at idle causing my car to run horrible at idle. I did a compression test just to make sure i wasn't loosing cyl pressure and all the cyl read 185-190psi across the board. although i did the test while the car was cold while some people say to do ti while the car has been warmed up. Does anyone know if it really matters,i thought because the numbers were so good it really didn't matter. Also can you connect the boost leak tester up to the tb to see if u have any leaks in the intake manafold, vac lines etc, if you don't find any in the intercooler piping. THANKS.

You're on the low end of normal, but that's with cold rings. You're fine. Try it warm if you're really concerned, but I guarantee they'll be normal. You can connect the tester anywhere you want to test. There are no rules as long as you realize exactly what you're testing.

Too busy/lazy to read at the moment. Boost leaks are not exactly my forte.
