trying to Add a amp or volt grauge

I've look every where US lancer, RA Lancer, Evo and very other area on this site so I'm giving in an asking how to hook up an amp / volt grauge? I bought a $20 one from Advanced Auto for the time being (lack of money) and I'm running a stock system. The reason I'm doing this is two weeks ago my car die before going to work. If I had an battary grauge on my cluster I would of seen this coming and gotten a new battary. One more thing does any of the lancer have a battary grauge on it already if so could I use the wire for that since the wire harness should be the same. Thanks guys

a volt gauge would jus be tapped into a 12volt source such as the ignition harness

Does that run thought a fuse if so I was told not too because it could give me a bad reading. if not then could you tell me where the ignition harness is?

I have a volt gauge and i put a fuse connector on the end of the wire and plug it into a empty slot on my fuse panel. Works Perfect
