results of boost leak test

I dont know if the tester will show leaks in the intake manafold vacs or gaskets so im going to try hooking it up straight to tb tomm. But when i hooked it up to the turbo i noticed that after pressurizing the system i would lose all my psi i a matter of seconds, and the only spot i found a leak was a crack were the intercooler core welds to the end cap. I took of mbc and just ran wasegate and was only able to get 4 pounds of boost which would drop of a bit. Would this leak cause rough idle and lose of vacuum on boost gauge, im going to get the intercooler fixed no matter what it just suck because it's brand new.

Severe leaks won't make any effective boost. Best thing ask for any local DSM'ers if they want to help you. They (gearheads, not glamor boys) should have the equipment and knowledge to pinpoint your problems.
