Need turbo advice

Hey all, glad I'm finally a member. Been looking for a lancer for a while and just picked up an 03 OZ for a good price. I'll get pics once it's not so boring and plain. She's still stock and I'm thinking, go right to Turbo and other basic mods, all at the same time. Hey I got 5 months of winter coming anyway.

STEP 1
I was thinking to p/u intake header/CAI, pulley upgr., cat elim., Magnaflow exh. ECU, throttle body, +susp. upgrades. For first stage.
At what stage should I put in an ECU, does it reconfigure itself everytime you mod the car?

STEP 2
turbokit, fuel rail, flywheel, clutch. Am I going to blow my pistons/rods if I don't upgrade before turbo...from what I've heard I think so but input please, what if I just have a small boost, 6-9 psi, would stock survive?

My turbo questions are as follows:

Of the threads I've been reading, I'm thinking of picking up this T25bb kit. check it out

http://www.turbospecialties-race.com...hi/ml25B1e.asp

Has anyone purchased & Installed this particular kit, review would be nice. Also, according to what is included, are there things not included which would be required. (yes I know I'll have to upgrade some drivetrain, fuel delivery, etc) But is this KIT sufficient in all "turbo-kit" aspects. I've never turbo'd, let alone mod a car so any input would be nice from you pro's.

If you can think of anymore sugg. please throw'em in.
Yay, my first post

Guinea Pig my new car...
lol
I wasn't really into the 16g, apparently it's more laggy and the guy doesn't have much for install pics... I might p/u A2's intake, It's way cheaper than RRM's and it comes w/ the CAI.

Obviously you don't have the first clue as to what you are doing. Firstly, the TSI kit needs some modification for it to work. Secondly, if you are planning on going FI you will not need that CAI. Whatever you do, don't buy a kit until know all the supporting mods you will need.

By the way the A2 kit looks like more of a complete kit then the TSI. There are many reviews and discussion about the TSI. Also I'm sure if you wanted to go with a t25 or a t28 over the 16g you could talk to Prench and see if he can make it work for you, he seems to be a flexible guy.
