I have an 06 auto lancer es and i want get a turbo kit RRM by this summer. I know I will need headers, but do i need to get a cat back system to. My friend said that if i don't get the exhaust that a turbo wouldn't spool right due to lack of flow. I'm brand new when it comes to tuner cars and i have little to no clue what im talking about, so go easy on me. I just want to learn and make my car go fast.

 

if you get the non intercooled t25 kit you will need a header. if you get the intercooled 16g kit it comes with a tubular manifiold.

 

Yes, get a catback. It's an important thing to have. GReddy or Magnaflow are some of the bigger names. Both are available at RRM.

 

You can also find a local muffler shop and get a custom catback for significantly less cost. You can even order a greddy or magnaflow muffler so you still have the brand-name muffler, the rest is just piping.
