somewhere between 7 & 9 intercooled. Tial 38mm wg, I think greddy BOV, SAFC Neo, custom tubular manifold etc. etc.
I will be checking on here to see your progress. PM me when you finish, complications, reviews etc. as that probably will be all I check. This is my DD so I HAVE to make mine reliable.
Automatic ftw
lol. I am going to make sure to flush my transmission before I turbo though.

I am gonna run a 16G at about 7psi, intercooled, using an RRM V1 Piggy for tuning. Speedcorps is still sorting out alot of the details for me.
I am also aiming for a reliable kit, cos this is my DD.
I'm gonna get my transmission flushed too, its like $175 at the dealership though, i think i am just gonna have to get it done though.

the shop I am going to is BALLIN. They get everything right the first time. They do a lot of motor swaps/turbo kits in things from civics to M3's to evo's etc. He is helping me peice together my kit and is going to do the FULL turbo install for $500 probably another $100 to tune and then $75 for the trans flush.
I am trying to debate between the 16G and the T28. Being a real garrett dual ball bearing, the T28 will spool up much quicker and should hold 7-9 psi to redline with a breeze. The 16G will provide my car with evo characteristics. The time it takes to spool the turbo is a little more but especially if you get the Big 16G the flow rating is excellent and the car pins you back in your seat. Both turbo's are almost equal though. Only reason I am going with the T28 is garrett aftermarket is generally better than stock...

I'm going with the 16G cos i don't have to pay any money out of pocket for it
however before i was getting speedcorps kit, i was researching into building a 16G kit anyway. From what i've read up though, it seems pretty equal to the T28 , your probably right. there really isn't much between them performance wise. It should be great for a DD though, and maybe taking it up to the track every now and again.
