Wet Shot

I know that this nitrous topic has been discussed but I need a advise.

I running 4g94 with ROSS 11.0:1 compression and stock rods Since nitrous loves compression, I want to run a wet shot. How big of a shot can I go with before my rods will go?

Thanks.

NOS is pretty dangerous. I don't know any specific specs but I think you'd be much safer looking into a turbo instead

^Bad guess on the 100-150 shot! I say, with the 11:1 compression, 50 shot max. But if this is your DD, don't even play with it...not worth not having a car. Sucks having to call the taxi...

why don't you want turbo?

there was a guy running nos a while back who made his engine explode, i think he found that anything more than 50 was too much.

either way you really should get new rods before running nos

what head are you running? your rods aren't upgraded and your egt's will likely reach a very high temperature, your **** will likely melt like most lancers.

I'm using 4g93 head (P&P) with 272 cam and valve springs. Again nitrous like compression. My only concern are the rods.

get a set of 25 and 50's. start with the 25's and watch the egts. if you feel like it can handle it go to 50's. do it at your own risk.
why dont you want a turbo? when you can handle the power constantly rather then just spryen a shot here and there and worring about blowen it up. (just my 2 cents)

Take your car's horsepower and halve it.

Dont run a bigger shot than that.

^65-70 shot maybe more, lol.

I'm all motor. Just want some juice on top. I got enough of hp from motor alone. And not even tuned yet and light mirage body.
