We have been working on getting CVT to finish the kit. We want to make sure components fit both the CVT and Manual!

Owning a RRM turbocharged RA I can pretty much guarentee that you 08 Lancer owners shall not be disappointed when they are done with this kit.

This is why RRM has proven itself on the market.

the funny part is that once the new lancer came out we thought that the 02-03 and the ra lancers would slow down but they have done the opposite, we are selling more ra turbos than ever. WOOT RA'S

you guys should push the cvt to really see what it can handle because im really curious to see. i want to be able to put out some nice power to the wheels and have the tranny handle it without smelling like a broken vacuum.

someone should come out with a tranny reflash and a steel belt upgrade or something for the cvt. btw ROCK how are you going to test the cvt or are you just gonna give it the same boost/specs as the 5 speed. what do you think is our weak point, the cvt or the engine itself?

Sounds like one of those mornings when you get up, look around, and say "What the hell happened last night!?"

99% chance that the tranny is the weak point. We know the engine is going to be decent. But the CVT belt is the concern...

Now I have a question. Wouldnt the CVT virtually eliminate turbo lag? I know if I floor it in my mom's Altima the RPMs shoot up to what I would imagine is the peak range and then they just stay there until I let up. What I'm saying since there is no huge drop in RPMs between shifts wouldnt it stay in the optimal powerband, and if tuned right, in peak boost if you went WOT on it?

I think our CVT already has a steel belt...
