evo turbo manifold for lancer?

well ive been looking around. answered alot of my questions. but i wasnt really sure about a few things..

kinda lost on what i need to do now. thought this would be easier

basically my buddy gave me his whole turbo/ic setup off his 06MR. i realize the uper/lower ic piping wont work, but FMIC will work fine, and turbo will also(most kits use a t28, isnt the 16g better?..), just donno really to much beyond that.

read somewhere that u can mesh up the stock evo 8/9 manifold and it works off the stock 02 lancer 4g94 head.. is that true? figured it wasnt. so im trying to figure out where i can get a turbo manifold that will have the 16g flange. anyone know the answers? search bar only helped me so much.

and what all else do i need to get, or would this be the part where i let my local shop take over.. (side not, i did read the thread on building your own turbo kit)

The piping will work for the most part, nost people who get the evo turbo just put a 4g94 flange on a megan manifold or some tubular mani.

16g is a good turbo. Good luck.

oh ok.. so the piping will work.. (wouldn't it be somewhat constricting?)
but what about the manifold.. custom built? or is there someones turbo manifold that i can get a 16g flange put on.. (was trying to see if rrm had one, but didnt see it on the site anymore since they changed the layout)

oh ok.. thanks.. so i guess when i take my obx headers off, i could just yank the flange(/cut) off (lol) and get someone to weld it onto an aftermarket manifold for an evo, but it would have my head flange.

Before you start getting flamed hard for these beyond newbie questions, I strongly suggest you search. Here, I did the work for you:

theres nothing newbie about my question. ive looked around. every link, including your own. doesnt work. thats for getting to someones website for oil line kits and everything else. i just need the hardware, and cant find a kit anymore from people i have bought in the past from for other cars that i have turbo'd. its always been cheaper buying a kit vs. buying it all myself from my local parts store, cuz ive done that before.. last time i got my kit from cheapturbolines.com and its down now. plus a few other places that i have used for my buddies hondas, none work anymore...

besides typing my question in 2 seconds and not actually seeing what i wrote, it was not a newbie question at all. i was asking if anyone has a specific company they suggest now adays, cuz all my guys/stores no longer exist for getting my small parts. cuz i really dont want to go buy every little fitment and all my lines from like autozone or something lame like that again, costs way to much.

No but there are at least 2 threads where people have sucessfully used evo manifold, turbo, i/c piping and i/c and they are well documented and very detailed. You should be able to peice together a full kit and install just using them.

My advise= http://www.roadracemotorsports.com/turboparts.htm

Beware. Its not as easy as it sounds. (putting this together will require a lot of time and you WILL run into problems). I have been down this path. You will go over budget and frustration may get the best of you. But Good luck with it.

good luck!, i think instead of getting fuel regulators better to jump straight to an engine management system , need a diff wastegate, boost controler and dont forget the gauges to keep an eye out oil pressure is a must, boost and wideband if u can and otheres look around i am a bit new to this but reading and answering this helps me out too
