If anyone was at the SoCal Lancer meet at Road/Race they saw the *****en yellow RRM Lancer. Rob gave a few rides to guys that already paid for turbos. Best part was RMR crashed the party with their Red Turbo Lancer and an EVO 7. They wouldn't even start it for us. Rob Tallini went over to check their cars out and found a puddle of oil the size of a large pizza under their Lancer. He had to give them tools and oil to fix they car in Road/Race's parking lot! When I saw that my mind was made up on which turbo I want and who is really in the know about Lancers.
They fixed it, Rob made them clean up the oil spill (Exxon Valdez like) and they immediately left ASAP. Fcken funny.

 

Sucks for RMR. Everyone has those days every now and again.

 

Mwahahahaha...The RXX companies are gonna duke it out! I'd love to see it! Hmm...I wonder if either one of them would be up to dyno testing their cars and perhaps even racing them...

Sounds like a worthwhile challenge to me. Save I wish I could be in CAL to watch. Battle of the Turbo Lancers I wonder how they'd do agains a WRX with 20PSI FMI and new gears???

Can anyone tell me if The RMR TEAM heheh races their Marlboro lancers in European championships? because I saw one down there and didnt do so well anybody has some info about that because I do not really.

 

I guarantee you RMR knows their lancers. If you wanna check and see who set the world record for stock class racing last year at Pike's Peak then you will see it is Rhys Millen in a Lancer 6.5, but the US Lancer as well as the VII r both new..Don't fault RMR for having some oil leakage, they're at least trying and pushing boundaries.

Yeah! I was there and I couldn't believe what a piece of crap rmr turned that lancer into! That was pretty much a brand new engine shot to hell from their turbo system.

Makes you think twice about buying RMR's turbo.

 

It might if they were actually selling one.
