Rods will be taken care off over the summer.

I really wonder how far can I go with the gapping. Maybe .022 (I know that honda guys go extreme with their set-ups)

This is what I have now: NGK's gapped at .030 (1 step colder).

BTW: I wish someone would comeout with traction bars for lancers and mirages. Get little more traction.

My bad. I'm running 7s, lol. But why would you run 2 step colder plugs?

i found out that 1 step colder plug didnt work as well for me. my car just seemed to run like crap. i did some research and found that a lot of people were running 7's so i switched and everything seemed to run better. i guess it was a trail/error.

gotha

How your engine acted on 6's? Was it braking up at certain rpm or something?

yeah it was,
but the real reason why 7's act better is because how hot the combustion camber is getting. with 6's the heat gets trapped in the porcelain causing it to get real hot. once that porcelain gets to a certain temp is caused pre-ignite. the 7's get rid of that heat because they are colder and more of the porcelain touches in the inside wall of the spark plug. (more of a theory way of looking at it)

yes it did break up when i got to higher rpms.

omarboy25: I got new azenis on; for the streets I don't really care about little traction issue, but hopefully they will hook on March 8 at E-town (street wars).

lancerrally45: Actually I might check my gapping again, bc when I go above 6k rpm, I get huge hesitation.

BTW: meth kit is coming in today, lol, now I just have to buy some HEET & Distiled Water.

Yeah, try a .028 gap and meth and put those rods in ASAP and crank it up! Good luck!

Meth is already in my house, lol. Rods will have to wait a little.

Thanks for your support. Can't wait to make another vid, but now running some COOL stuff.

Indeed, it does sound very nice. Also, it seems like she is BEGGING for more boost. Give her what she wants...

Seriously though, props.
