Just wanted to know... my Turbo manifold is burning my OEM fans... wanted to convert to slim fans... Will one fan be enough to keep my engine cool? or two? wanted to put on the front of the radiator.....HELP

I'm not the end all be all of knowledge on this by any means. But my educated guess... if the blades are getting smaller, they should probably be getting more in number to compensate. I'm applying a very simplified concept of fluid dynamics for this assumption. Bottom line, I'd go with two

You really need only one fan. Other fan is for a/c, I think.

Hey thanks Lancerrallly45... yeah i would deff be safe then sorry... I know on the front of the radiator there's the AC condenser on the one side... what will be a perfect size to run two? and do you just cut the harness off the OEM fans solder to new and connect as normal?

i think im running two ten inch ones. i just cut the wires and made sure i hooked one up as a pull and one as a push, because i have one on each side of the radiator.

I have an eleven for me ac side and a 12 for my driver side, which is on the inside of the radiator, remember the radiator has a smaller screen in front of it for the ac

It all depends on how much the fans move. You can get a single large fan to move enough air to cool good enough. But two smaller fans will still be better since it will draw air over the entire core than just ~1/2.

^Exactly! One can and WILL do the job, thing is you gotta know what you're buying. Not all electric fans are equal. Check the CFMs, more the better! My friends 325hp Civic with an OEM core radiator uses one 1200 CFM fan and with not a problem.

Good luck!

SWEEEET thanks guys... you guys are a lot of help... i'm looking to put two on the outside to save room on the back side of the radiator... i want to redo my intake for my turbo set up... i'm currently running a RRM 16G set up right now... and the intake that was design for it was kinda crappy... i know this is asking much..but you guys got pic's? Oh yeah... and when ur fan kicked on did it dim your lights or effect your power souce ( voltage/current)?

I'm currently running a 9" 600cfm pusher on my small aluminum radiator setup. I had a 10" puller together with it on the inside when I had my stock radiator. I ordered a 10" 1100cfm SPAL pusher to take the place of the 9". Should be in later next week.

Here's where I ordered my stuff from:

http://www.a1electric.com/catalog/cat_spal.htm

I don't know if they're the cheapest, but their service was top notch.
