Planning to go turbo in the future

I am planning to go turbo in the future, just don't have the money to completely commit right now. What performance mods can I do that will give me gains now and also help in eventually going turbo? Are there any mods that I should avoid? I am looking at exhaust right now and possibly a SRI, should I get certain ones if I want to keep them for when I eventually get a turbe. I drive a Automatic 2002 OZ Rally. Thanks.

Don't waste your money on the SRI and small mods. Save it for the turbo. The only items I would invest in for future turbo plans would be:
-Port/polished Intake Manifold (4g93 manifold)
-Full catback exhaust
-RRM under drive pulley
-RRM piggyback
-RRM headers (only if you're going RRM Turbo kit)
-Possibly Cams/Gears

At least those are the mods that I would do.
Save your money and piece it together slowly like I have been. I've only put down $1200 for custom 16g so far and all I have left is wrx injectors, piggyback, wideband, and a good dyno tune

I would say work on your suspension first, that is the best thing I've done for my car and has made it so much more fun to drive rather than just going faster.

Please search, this is a well discussed topic. I would start by reading the FAQ in my sig since I cover this.
