i dont think theyre making excuses.. its just turbos arent exactly flying off the shelves right now for lancers..neither is the season that people have a lot of money to spend on it. i wouldnt be in a hurry either. most people wont even bother spending that much for such little gain. a lot of people if peformance was that big of an issue the thought would have been put there before hand and put the money tward a more capable car.. then there will always be people who will do what you are doing..nothing wrong with that..just know your options are limited.

lol it's the guys that talk to people like they are step-children that make me immature

EvoM is NOT a proving ground, and it's NOT the #1source for all that is Lancer.

I don't mind the "immature" comment because that's what it is. But let's not pretend like what i said came outta nowhere.

Each time you post is a free bump to a thread about running/functional turbo kits. Thanks brah!

Please explain to me how a company that claims they had a running turbo with 2 psis running 14s, can't put together a kit in over a year with members wanting it. The kit was already designed and supposedly tuned..... a year ago.

The economy has nothing to do with it. No R&D needed since its already made, tuned, and running. Just offer it up for sale. But wait, the only thing that been completed is the "made" part. It has not been tuned or running.

If the economy was soooo bad, RRM wouldn't already have near a dozen kits out.

serious RRMs turbo has been out a long time..its been for sale a long time. almost a year yet you are the first person to get it not too long ago. as far as i know only 2 people have the kit. i cant believe anything RRM says anymore. if they are gonna tell a lancer owner than can get 50-60hp from bolt ons and dual intakes yeilding 2 different numbers. can you really believe them when they say theres a dozen kits out but yet we only know about 2 people who have the kit? sorry but i in no way believe all a sudden these kits are flying off the shelves. RRM has lost mine and a lot of other peoples credibility with the way they seem to take advantage of lancer owners..

ok im done with the off topicness. have fun with the turbo

Seriously i think there are a few people that need to be banned from RRM related threads. All they do is make flame posts about Rob and the "terrible" parts RRM makes. If you do not think RRM has quality products fine, you have made your point time and time again. Ever hear of just letting it go? I'm not sure what Rob and RRM did to you in the past, but any issues I have had with their parts when I got them was either solved over the phone or on here with Rob. They have given me nothing but the best service and back everything they sell. If you do not believe in what Rob and RRM claim about their products PROVE them wrong. Until then you are just spouting BS the same way you claim RRM is spouting BS.

if you could find one thread where i said RRM makes terrible parts please do so. with the only exception being the pos filter with the intakes. my post had nothing to do with hating on RRM. if you are going to sit there and ignore the obvious fact that RRM is lying to its customers about their products then i dont know what to tell you. all i pointed out you cant trust a company saying they sold 12 turbos when we only seen 2 people actually with one when they are lying to customers about other things

its funny.....every person that has a turbo on their car thinks that they rule the world and know everything about everything....

Serious I have a quick question.....IF, and only IF, XtremeBoosts turbo happens to be better and cheaper, what will you do/say then?

Actually, if you visit other forums you'll see alot more than 2 people have kits. Theres 4 people just on EvoM with kits (only 2 members post, one is a friend of a friend, and the other came on here briefly to ask a few questions then left), majority of the people buying these kits don't belong to any forum and just buy it and show it off at their local car club, or military people who drop their car off to get worked on before they go overseas. I remember reading a topic on another forum of a guy who has a custom greddy turbo on his lancer. I would say RRMs claim of 12 kits sold is definitely valid, if not more.

i dont think the 12 is true either. nobody ever seen anyone with a turbo until serious and then after that they start selling? what did they post a sell or something we didnt know about? ive seen turbo lancers on other sites but people automatically assume since RRM is the only ppl who make premade kits for the lancer. than its an RRM one. ive seen 2 already that were custom kits not RRM kits. because technically its probably easier (if you have a MT) to get a custom made kit for cheaper or around the same price.

if you arent in direct contact with who buys the kit how can you tell the majority of ppl that buy the kit dont post on forums? if your into your car enough to put a 5000 turbo in it most want to talk about it with other people and such. using forums. some things dont add up.

nothing against you or anyone else but i would like to see a post from someone who dosent have a list of RRM products in their signature. it seems some people are bias when it comes to RRM

Burntrubber87(his cousin's car, his cousin bought the turbo kit but doesn't belong to any forums so burnt rubber is helping him out), Serious, Evolve, and some other guy who's name started with D I think (it was in fall of 08) all have the RRM turbo kit and posted it on Evo M. There are at least 3 other people who have said they have the RRM turbo kit on other forums, which makes 7 people. RRM has vids of another customers car that they worked on who was in the military and is overseas right now. That makes 8 people that we know about so far, not to mention the other people that are like Burntrubbers cousin, ect.

Yeah I've seen a couple of custom kits for the lancers, and that definitely is a good alternative. There are probably 10-15 custom kits running around the country right now that we have no idea about. I know a few of my friends here just go to a shop, get a turbo installed and drive away without posting it on a forum.

And FYI, my car is completely stock besides a review camera I installed. In my sig are the parts I want, an RRM pully because there are only 2 pullys on the market right now, and an RRM turbo cuz its the only turbo on the market right now lol. I have no brand loyalty or anything, but I do appreciate the work RRM puts into the lancer.

wow, too many flame posts, anyways, evolve, judging by your sig, you have turbo kit too?

Serious, how has the kit been on the long run. showing signs of faulty, or is it durable??

Not a single issue. I have about 5000 miles on it already and it still pulls hard. No oil leaks, no weird noises, no unusually lag, nothing. Still running like the day it was completed. Except with the stock BOV lol.
