Building up to a turbo

I'm wondering what is a good way to build up to a turbo, im going to be N/A for a awhile due to saving up for turbo. But in the mean time what are some parts that when i go turbo i will not have to sell that will help the set up perform better ? cam and gear, Bored TB, piggy, injectors, forged rod and pistons ? i don't want to spend extra money if i dont need to but in the mean time still have a little horse power til my turbo.

Your on the right path...you can also get head p/p with valve job, the cam, intake mani p/p, piggy, any fuel upgrade won't be required until you turbo, you could get cat back, but if you plan on going turbo while you save for that work on handling...suspinsion struts and such or go visual wheels, body, paint windows,

most part aren't going to have a huge increase without tune so why build and tune na just go straight turbo with the rest of the mods just save then go BIG all at once
