Lightbulb Hi guys I got a turbo question

Well im gonna go to road race tommorow to down my Hacker/tweeker turbo kit, i was just wondering what other parts would i need to complete the kit..? i already have a Fuel Pump by nos, Vortech FMU, I plan to pick up a FPR from Road Race, i have most of the gauges.. what else what I need to complete my kit? would a GReddy BOV work..? all feedback is appreciated.. i mean i would buy the complete kit but it seems like the price keeps going up every month.. so i have no choice but to get the tweeker kit and work from there.. does anyone know if RRM sells the other 2 pipes seperately?

you need to get pipes custom bent. a freddy will work it all depens on how you get it connected. I like the full kit cause it has everthing you need in it including every clip screw, clamp and everything else.

the kit went up cause their parts prices got raised from the manufacturer of turbos and such.

The price of buying everything else needed seperatly will cost more than buying the kit. but if you have some of the parts already then you might be better of piecing it together. The greedy will work, but you MUST recirculate the air. If you let the air just vent, every time you let off the throttle the car will studder and stall due to overly rich fuel conditions. GOOD LUCK!

Yeah I think you called Saturday when I was putting my down on my turbo and talking with Rob. If that was you I think you should do what he said and sell all the stuff you bought on ebay and then just get the full set. All of their stuff works together good and everyone that buys the sets can tell you that. I know RRM knows what they are doing and thats why Im getting the kit.

True to an extent but beaten to death by everyone on the board most of which have absolutely no expierence with a VTA BOV on a lancer, I was VTA when my get-up was working and on the car (So was HartLancer) and if you don't know how to drive it, its going to stall. If you are fully spooled up and push in the clutch, blow off and dont do anything its going to quit 100 times out of 100. All you have to do is give it a little goose after you blow off and you are going to stop and its fine. Normal driving is ok, it will stumble from time to time but the best part is everyone and their mamma can hear VTA BOV's which makes it worthwhile IMO.
