Question Has anyone dyno'd or drag raced their turbo US Lancer???

Hey everyone.

After joining the forums I took time out to read as many posts as I could about the US Lancer. I wanna know EVERYTHING I can about it.

I've read a lot of posts on the RRM and RMR turbo setups, and I'm sure by now there are a number of people with them installed. My question to you guys is this: If you've had an aftermarket turbo added to your US Lancer, could you post dyno numbers or time slips to give the rest of us an idea of what we'll get out of our cars with forced induction?

I appreciate ANY information you can provide. Thanks again. Later all.

Holy cow, that's pretty bad for TC'er. Did he tune it properly?

60 foot times needs to drop below 2.2 sec. 1/8 mph needs to be much higher.

16.1 sec @ 85 mph . . . A tuned Neon R/T w/ mild mods can get those times. Something isn't right, unless being dragged downed by big rims/tire.

It's all him, he installed and "tuned" it. So no it's not tuned properly.

Is this car automatic? How much boost is he running? What size turbo? Does he still have the stock exhaust and airbox or something? Is he trying to have a BOV vented to atmosphere? What is he doing for tuning for fuel? What altitude is he at (colorado)???

These are all questions I would like to know the answers too...it would be helpful in determining why the car is only running a 16.1. If he lived in El Paso, TX and went to the local track a 16.1 would actually be decent for a turbo'd lancer running only 5psi as that would translate to a 15.2 at sea level...but hell at 4400ft on my "all motor" mirage I have run faster trap speeds then that (87mph).
