hey what would happen if you installed the air flow meter after the output of the intake side of the turbo?

my guess is that you would fry the air flow sensor. that pipe coming off of the turbo outlet is called a "hotpipe" for a reason. also, the engine wants to register uncompressed air as opposed to compressed air. it would probably under compensate fuel because more air will be entering than it realizes. the MAF is looking for how much volume of air is entering the system. compressed air takes up the same volume but has more oxygen per cubic inch. this will probably lead to bad things. like detonation

sorry andrew, but i just needed to answer this one right quick. last OT post, i promise!

tap the line that enters your wastegate or WG actuator. it'll give you a true boost pressure reading.
