maybe it's just me, but that's an insane length of piping. how was throttle response? i'm just afraid that the massive length of piping would have dulled the throttle response.

also, a note on the manifold. it's a good manifold in that the runners don't converge until the point they enter the turbine housing, but i don't like the odd lengthed runners. a properly designed manifold should have equal length runners. it'll smooth out turbo response since the exhaust gasses all reach the turbine together. it also eliminates hot spots on the manifold

definetly going bigger intercooler later on when i get my new bumper and what not.. but just a bit low on funds now hehe but it does not dull the throttle response at all.. we had it running yesterday.. BOV sounds loud as hell.. also before I put the kit on we noticed that my throttle cable was hella loose so we tightened up and its purrrrfect now.. mmm.. its all gonna be done on weds. Just wating for fedex to bring me my freaking greddy exhaust.. im gonna stick with the stock cat reason being I dont want to lose too much pressure on the exhaust.. soon as you start the car.. since i have the dp on and no other exhaust.. you can just hear the turbo whistle it sounds so sweet.

but you don't want pressure in the exhaust....back pressure is bad for turbos. the reason i run with a cat on my system is that i enjoy breathing the air around my car

Pressure will be provided mainly by the turbine itself. Get a $50 manual boost controller and it should help prevent creep. You'll want as free flowing of an exhaust as you can get away with when you're turbocharged. Is the RPW DP 2.5"?

Ah yeah. I was gonna say to expect creep with a 3" dp and no boost control.

Good luck with it, boost safely and have fun.

Andrew how many times do I have to tell you that a boost controller will not elimanate creep just spikes!!!!! Porting of the O2 housing corrects this Anyways hope you had a good holiday.
As for the poster: As for the kit looks nice, good job. Are you worrying about any cracks developing in that manifold. Thats alot of weight hanging off there it it doesnt look like it is being distributed to well as the turbo is hanging completly off to the right. I would expect a cracked mani in the future, but who knows maybe not. that was just an observation from your pick. By the way a 3" full exhaust is overkill for your application, don't waste your money and stick with 2.5". I mean even for my app its over kill and I am pushing alot more boost than you are. 3" are usually reserved for when you are making over 300hp. This has always been a big debate over on DSM talk but most poeple agree that for the eclipse that is 3" is ussually overkill. Seeing that alot of us are only pushing 250-280hp anyways.

On another note have you really considered shortening up your piping? The pressure drop might be absolutey horrible with that much plumping, it is extremely long. You should really look into that you could be working your turbo harder than need be and not getting much power out of it.
