I've got a custom 16g kit that is being tuned with a Tactrix cable. The problem I am having, is determining how to safely rev the engine (I want to hear if the bov makes noise, and is working). I've not yet tuned the car to run WOT, but in the course of trying, I can't figure how the engine can safely rev. The openloop thresholds aren't going to do anything at a stand still, so the car will be trying to keep 14.7AFR, and I dont know what the heck to do with timing at a stand still. Some of the guys said they see knock with their cars if they rev it, but I'm confused how that happens since it filters out knock lower than a certain load.

Anyhow, stupid question, but how to I safely rev this thing?
