Im currently deployed, but am looking into getting a turbo for my lancer gts 2010. I was looking at the RRM turbo kit. but its was to exspensive. Ive heard theres a few companies out there working on making turbo kits for the gts. But i was wondering does the Lancer ralliart turbo kit work for the gts?

RRM headers
RRM aluminum crank pulley
RRM piggy back
RRM stage 2 timing controller
RRM exhaust
RRM intake
RRM suspension package

 

Rally art works i think without mods and evox will need some moda after the the exhaust mani or so i ve heard u could get a banging turbo kit with like $2k or go even cheaper and get an ra kit i havr and ra kit wich i ll be installing soon hopefully

 

were can i get ahold of a RA turbo kit? and what is this other turbo kit your talking about? im interested in it.

 

The other one is the one that comes on the evo x , u can get an ra turbo from any ra owner that upgraded to an evo x turbo or u can get any of them in a junkyard now i did buy the turbo but i dont know anything about how to install it lol if u do a lil research people will help u and ill also help u in anything that its in my knowledge just lmk

 

Put the Ra. Turbo on a normal lancer is one thing...
but what about the clutch, cooler, brakes...?
Good enough for a turbo setup?

 

For what i heard yes i mean clutch is a great upgrade wheter u r na ur tc so i would do that if i can , also most turbo set ups barely reach 200whp for the reserch that i have being doing ( it wont be a boost beast) i also heard that cvt are not asvreliable as manual trannys so i wouldnt Run touch boost and that the compression rate on the 4b12 wont be able to handle that much boost without detonate so i rather have a long lasting 200whp that a 300whp beast thats allways in the shop. Also this car is my DD so i dont wanna go nuts with it anyways

 

And again this is what i heard im not a turbo specialist by far for real so im just repeating what others said dont quote on me ok

 

check this out ... all the members always are telling you what can you do or not if you want to Turbo your lancer, but almost the time they dont know nothing real (facts) just what they read.

here my 2 cents:

I have a 09 Lancer ES 2.0 it has the RA Turbo+Manifold+02 housing+ downpipe and injectors, also the fuel pump, that's easy to install the thing is about the tune, I havent been able to tune my car, it runs rich and then lean, i need to find some one who knows how to Tune the ECU.. first find some one able to Tune your car then go for your turbo!

I have the ecuflash with the openport 2,0 from tactrix but I cant find any maps, it supose to works with the 08 evo x gsr but i have to try.

if some one can help on this pleas PM me.

 

Nice that u got it working but u need ur tune asap before u detonate again thx God i keep saying I HEARD lol and yes is true at least me im 0 knowledge when it comes to T i have the same setup too ra kit but i have a 4b12 so how u like ur turbo so far besides this tuneup issue

 

thanks alot guys this is alot of help. im going to start looking into the RA. turbo kit. But is the RA kit bolt on? or is the some custom work needed?

 

Ths exhaust mani is bolt on u will need to buy the intercooler brakets and injectors

First find a good tuner then get the whole kit

 

Try to contact this guy trough facebook( Ruben Rosario from DynoCenter Tuning) to see if you can get a deal from him like the maps that sell over email or regular mail. He is the one responsible for tuning the lancer 4b11 that previously reach 386whp(there is a video about it on youtube) and on tuesday reach 400 whp at 25psi

 

damn 400 whp. thats beast. im really glad to hear almost all of it is bolt on. thats no problem making those lines. yea when i get back from deployment im going to be looking into this. to find a tuner to help. thanks alot for this help.

 

Dammm 400whp thats crazy way to much almoust 300% gain i dont know if i want that for my DD btw to combat thx for servin bro be safe
