How big should exhaust be for turbo?

Hey,
Im getting an RRM used Intercooled kit and i was wondering what exhaust is good enough? I have a stock exhast with and OBX axel back exhaust. Is this good enough our should i go with a full Magnaflow Exhaust and a test pipe. Maybe even headers. Thanks.
Nick

You should either go with a Bushur (2.5"), Greddy (2.25") or Magnaflow(2.25)

Go with the full exhuast set up. You will be kicking yourself if you don't. Remember the best exhasut is no exhaust for a turbo.... .

save some money compared to the pre-assembled exhausts and go get a custom done for around 300... and if you want to stay legal opt for a high-flow cat instead of a test pipe.. from some tests a high flow cat is only about 1-2% more restrictive than a test pipe...

2.5" turbo back with a highflow cat (if you're not concerned with the implications of tampering with a functioning catalytic converter) imo. It's the only way to be on the Lancer. Since we're not exactly boosting to the sky and I'm not certain the clearance for a larger exhaust, the 2.5" seems to be the best option for a turbocharged Lancer. The reason I recommend a highflow over a test pipe if you're going to touch the cat is because you're going to have some HORRIBLY stinky exhaust if you dont' have a cat, and at least you'll be killing the environment a little more slowly.
