Hi Guys,
I'm getting really lean from 5000rpm and up on a blown 4G92 engine.
Can anyone describe me how to tap the fuel line to supply fuel for an additional injector?
Is it also true that + correctionf the SAFC2 does not work? I'm alreay set to +50 from 4500rpm to redline and still i'm leaning out.
I'm only boosting 7 psi using a 14b turbo.
Thanks

+ worked on my car but for some reason no one else's...rather strange if you ask me....just boost up fuel pressure to like 60 psi on boost with some kind of rising rate fuel regulator.
Thanks zlancer, did you have a fpr and pump in combination with the afc?
I only have the afc and i'm still using the stock fpr and pump, i do have an eclipse turbo pump lying around. would this be the culprit?

+ does work, you just need an upgraded fuel system (injectors or fpr adjusted for more pressure). the safc works on my car too even though i'm not boosted. the vortech fmu is a bit more adjustable on sending fuel on boost than a regular boost sensitive fpr or rising rate fpr. usually an extra injector causes a rich/lean bias among the 4 cylinders so i'd do a bit more planning than just sticking one in the intake manifold. also, if you haven't already, get an upgraded fuel pump as the stock fuel pump doesn't supply the same fuel pressure at higher rpm (or higher fuel pressure at the injectors) than at idle. http://www.roadraceengineering.com/f...pflowrates.htm

Andy... seems to be true to some extent... I was out yesterday trying to mess with the afc. I kept changing the settings on the positive side to see if it would have effect. The thing is in a way it does, but im not sure if it has to be the exact % on the + side to be correct. I was still leaning out at like +10%.... but it would lean out in different spots than if I were to have +25% or +15% for that matter. So it is a possibility that it is true because it obviously does something.+ worked on my car but for some reason no one else's...rather strange if you ask me....just boost up fuel pressure to like 60 psi on boost with some kind of rising rate fuel regulator

its all in the FPR settings is where my problem is.. soon as i get it dialed in...... WHAM!!!
Thanks Guys, I'll try your suggestions, I'll try to have an MSD FPR Installed into my system also.
I have +50 settings on me and it still does not work. My injectors might be clogged or dead cause i'm using 390cc's.
Does anyone know if an injector could be fixed when it does not give out a ticking sound anymore?

well if an injector is not working anymore i would highly recommend NOT to start the engine! i believe you'll just have to get a new injector...i'm not sure if they can be repaired.
Yup I'll definitely look into getting a new set of injectors... Somewhere in the 400cc range...
And a T3 turbo too
I'll sort out this problems first
