Absolutely daily driveable. I'd recommend doing some serious research though. No offense, but you sound like you have no idea what you're talking about.
Internals don't just go.
RRM advises against the use of synthetic. There are several threads on this as well, none with any conclusive information.

Ive been doing research and asking alot of questions learning. thanks for all your help. The reason i asked is Zapco lancer told me that i shouldn't use it as a daily driver if i get turbo and he told me that the internals go. I understand they dont just go i have more experience building and rebuild motorcycle engines. The car scene is fairly new to me and i apperciate all your help.
thanks
thanks
i have really never understood the whole daily driver crap...i mean when you are daily driving it..the street is the least place possible to blowup your internals...theres a guy in panama who uses his 1000hp supra as a daily driver...i mean i think it is cool driving a turbocharged lancer going to work..why not use it as a daily driver
I think Zapco's way off base there. Most every turbocharged Lancer on these forums is a daily driver to the best of my knowledge and there have been precious few problems. Of all those failures I don't think a single one that I could name offhand was due to a failure on RRM's part.
If you want some valuable information on turbochargers try purchasing the book Turbochargers, by Hugh McInnes. Yes, it's very dated, but the laws of physics and thermodynamics apparently haven't changed in the past 15-20 years.
Good luck.

It really depends upon how your car is or isn't tuned. In the end it always comes back to fuel (and AFR), temp, and the strength of your motor (valves, springs, retainers, pistons, connecting rods, bearings etc) vs the boost you're running.
Sub 6psi (I wrote it in my post before too). It had nothing to do with boost and everything to do with tuning. I do not have an RRM kit. I'm just playing devil's advocate. I stand by RRM's kit being problem free though to the best of my knowledge. It didn't suit me, but I certainly can't knock its reliability so far.
