So i got lucky and scored a full RA ic piping manifold etc and a CBRD rad lite turbo for a steal of a price.

The questions i have are:
The ecu. I know it can be flashed with the evo x rom. What happens after that? I heard the MIVEC wont rub properly or at all. Which scares me cause.idk what it does tbh.

Second. Will the stock fuel pump NEED to be replaced? If so why?

Lastly. A 4b12 runs at 10.5:1 cr. Will i need to change the head gasket out? Or can the oem one suffice? I'm curious as I only want to bring up to 220-230whp possible more but i also don't want to go overboard on a budget here. Luckily i saved moolah for the kit just wanna make sure I'm buying the right parts the first time

 

The RA piping kit is a joke..i hope you got it for next to nothing..as in $25 - $50. To be honest I wouldnt even use it. You are gonna want to get hard upper piping. As far as the ECU goes, just swap your current map sensor to a 3 bar and flash the ecu to the proper X GSR rom and get the car tuned. You wont have any problems and have no clue why someone would say otherwise. Stock fuel pump is fine, but youll need X injectors. Keep the head gasket...Ralliart turbo, and run 7-8psi and youll be at 230whp and tq
