hey guys, im new to this forum and this is my first post. i have an 04 ES lancer manual. Ive tried looking for a turbo kit but ive had some trouble finding one. could you guys recommend one and where to find it? also my car is comptetely stock is there anything i would need to upgrade so it could handle the turbo? clutch, injector MAF etc..... thnx for your help.
there is nothing you need to upgrade to get the www.roadracemotorsports.com turbo. im pretty sure its compatible with the 04 es as well.
i am almost certain that the 04 oz fits the old turbo. the things you want to upgrade would be exhaust, and header.
besides that you can run 5-7 psi all day. with some more fuel computer and such you can probably get up to 9 psi on stock internals.

i looked on that road rac motorsports web site it looked as if the good kit was 4100. i wasnt really looking to pay that much for one. is there anything cheaper or is that basicly the go price for one?
You're turbocharging the car, not putting an intake on it. I don't know what you expect to pay, but if you're looking for an intercooled kit, chances are it's going to be in the $3,500+ range.

yea.. there is a turbo kit on ebay for 2500 i think its the proto type old school rmr kit ( didnt they have one ) anyways if you search ebay or goto the post in forsale forum u can find a link to it.
yea yea ....i know its far from intake....but im only 17 and have to spend my money wisely... i found what seems to be a good intercooled kit for like $2800. supposed to give around 250 hp. (http://www.importperformanceparts.ne...itsubishi.html) that is where i saw it but comes with a T25 turbo..is it any good or is this kit just total trash?????
Its a garrett turbo which are decent turbos, except if ur gonna go get a turbo kit atleast get the T25BB, spend the extra 300 and all u can out of it, but it seems to have everything u need to get going, somebody else check that out and verify that for me thanx
If you're sreiously stretching your budget to do this, you may want to reconsider. For whatever reasons it's hard to stop at just a kit. That or you may have unexpected problems that end up costing hundreds more. Best piece of advise I can give is to make sure you know what you're getting yourself into.
