About $1000 to raise pressure. NEED FUEL TO stop detonation. Requires fuel management system.

Now literally, cost for real engine management like "stand alone ECU" costs $1000. Even AFC and injectors will be close to $700. Basically when you add up all involved in tuning or dyno time and gadgets, it is $$.

Road Race can make you one already but it requires more careful modification due to the larger area the auto tranny takes up. The pics of their first one are superb.

i get my supply where the oil pressure sensor is. its right next to the oil filter. you jus take the sensor off, but a brass T, connect the T to the motor, the pressure sensor to one side and the oil feed line to the other.

Liquidlancer ran his Turbo Lancer at Englishtown. Best time 14.6. Said he had a lot of wheelspin. Turned boost up and went slower. Too too much wheelspin. Gotta work on traction for him now.

14.6 sounds good, still deciding if i want to go all-motor or use a turbo . . . anyway in about 2 months i'll have enough money to pick either . . .

so far 1.5k saved..curious though. rock personal question on the turbo system, if someone went to the non intercooled system hwo much would it cost to put that in later. thinking if it will be cheaper to get intercooled now, or get something now and intercooler later. trying to make a path of cash. :

Depending on the size and efficiency, it can range from a paltry 300 bucks to an amazing rip your R-bar mod and wallet burner of 1500 smackers w/ S&H.

Edit: I mean I have seen people use stock DSM side mount IC or the classic Starion's IC. Then, I have seen huge Indy Race Core IC (can't remember the whole name) with all the fixing of special pipes hitting the stratosphere in price. It's so big and efficient that it can help cars bounce runs in the 9-10 sec range.

Here's the link. These IC's are huge, even the smaller street version.

IMO, these are the most beautiful IC and piping that I have ever seen in my life. This is the case that you get what you pay for.

DSM'ers always rave about them after mod-ding it to their cars.

I'll try to find a link to a guy making beautiful TC manifold.

Figure around the middle. Separate intecooler upgrade would be $750-$850 using the same spearco front mount we use in the other kit and all needed Clocking turbo outlet 180 degrees, piping, brackets etc....

Here's the link to the guy who custom created and welded a TC mani for the 1.5L mirage. His work is immaculate.
