Honestly you shouldn't buy the cheapest things u can find on ebay. Iv been there and done that, try to save up some more and buy quality parts first before you realize all of the cheap parts you bought are going to break in a blink of an eye. The manifold you linked is not the right one it's made for an external wastegate, the injectors and bow are 30$ when they should be 250+ each for a quality part, etc. if you have any questions you can pm me i will be glad to help. I'm currently building my motor for this summer and aiming 300 WHP up from 220 WHP.

You should just bring your head to a machine shop where they rebuild engines, you will have a brand new rebuilt head for around 350-400$ and they will measure and replace any worn out parts, leak test it, etc

If it comes up to 400 ill spend the extra 50-100 for a new one

Also found out I have a pretty big oil leek problem.which is not good especially if I wanna go turbo

This is probably not what you want to hear but unless you are just looking for a challenge, you would probably be time & money ahead to just buy a turbo car instead of trying to put one on your original NA car. Just my .02...good luck

Only a few grand to turbo a lancer, a cheap evo 8/9 is still up around 15k. Plus the evos around that price are beat to hell and back. Only 500 for a used motor in a lancer. 3k for one in an evo

Haha me too man. That's why I got an Evo X in addition to the lancer.
I spent so much because at the time I didn't know what the hell I was doing and I keep changing my setup.
Now it's time to either build the 4g94 or swap it out for a 4g64. What's your plans for yours? Are you going to have the cylinders bored out? What brand pistons and rods you going with? I was thinking about doing mine, went to look on speedcorps.com and it looks like they aren't in business anymore.

Yea im currently building my engine. I ordered some CP 82mm (0.5 oversize) forged pistons, K1 forged rods, rebuilt my head, got an evo 9 turbo instead of the evo 8 that i blew this summer at the track, sandblasted and repainted pretty much every piece of the engine and got new seals and gaskets. Then im rebuilding my transmission. Changing the 1-2 synchro, main shaft bearings and currently looking for a lsd (mirage kaaz lsd or phantom grip). Then im getting an oil cooler because my engine oil was overheating at the track this summer.
