Comment on my SRI/Breather Setup
For you experts out there, is there anything wrong with the way I've set up my intake and breather? My friend thinks my setup is wrong.
Specifically, does the air in the breather hose going into the valve cover go in or out of the breather in my setup? When I remove my breather, will there be gunk inside, or is the breather set up correctly? The breather hose plug on the intake is sealed.
I've been looking at catch cans and the way they're set up, and some of them are confusing.
This is a pretty silly question I know, but my friend's comments made me doubt myself...
Technical info on what the brether hose does would be great too. Thanks in advance!

i had my weapon r set up the same way... n when i went to the track i was running .6 seconds slower... i figured it was the battery in the way... so i relocated the batter n went back to the track n now i was running 16.8s... so you might wanna consider moving the battery... and also get a heat shield... that will help a lot.

Thanks, but my question was not about whether my intake is getting enough air, but rather whether there is anything wrong with the way I've sealed off the breather hose on the intake and installed the breather filter where the hose used to be.
After talking to my friend about the direction of airflow to/from the valve cover breather hose, I'm having some slight doubts.

it looks fine but im pretty sure it doesnt do anything to cars without a turbo, so its mostly for looks. When you have a turbo its lets air pass in so the oil doesnt flood into the throttle body. I wouldnt worry about it lik i said its just for looks on your car. By the ways looks good, the extra little filter sticking out looks sweet if you ask me.
